Born in New York in 1971,Chad Oppenheim, NCARB, AIA received a bachelor of architecture from Cornell University in 1994, and has conducted studies in product design and graphic design at Harvard University. He is the recipient of numerous design distinctions such as the 2000 American Architecture Award, 2000 AIA Florida Architecture Award, (2) 2000 AIA Miami Architecture Awards, 2001 Digital Architecture Award, (2) 2001 AIA Miami Architecture Awards, 2001 Outstanding Young Architect of the Year Award, Baird Prize, and Kume Fellowship in Japan. He has lectured and taught at, Florida International University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Cornell University where he was an assistant professor of architectural technologies. 

Over the last decade he has lived and worked around the world investigating the cultures of Mexico, Italy, France, Switzerland, England, Spain, Portugal, Israel, and Japan. His work has been exhibited in galleries in New York, Miami, and Rome, and he has published two books with Cornell University Press. As a director of design for Arquitectonica (1995-1999) in Miami, Florida, his unique creative talents have permitted him to participate on exciting projects around the globe.
